New in 2-0-1-2!

Hi Birdies! Wow, here we are in 2012! That sure did happen fast. Hope you all had a spectacular New Year's Eve.. and remember.. spectacular can mean ringing in the New Year from the comforts of your love seat with a cup of hot cocoa. I myself chose to mix it up this year and head up to the camp site in Middle of Nowhere, GA and ring in the New Year with the howling of coyotes. Now THAT'S a par-tay! (There may or may not have been a tub full of jello shots too...)

I'm excited for 2012 because I've created a new line of jewelry that I'm now offering in my Etsy shop. I've discovered metal stamping and I'm hooked. I'm starting out with a simple line of hand-stamped, aluminum cuffs. They vary from fun sayings, to scripture, to movie lyrics, to all things pop culture.

My other 2012 goal (aside from getting fit, which is the same resolution I make every year but fail to accomplish) is playing the piano. My husband bought me an awesome keyboard for Christmas and I had an interview with the piano teacher today. So what if I'm 32. I'm going to play that piano and have late night jam sessions with my guitar playing hubby. You're never too old to learn, right? Heck, we may even start a family band. My daughter did get a recorder in her stocking! We're all set :)
